Our take
This is the New Year's Eve dinner cruise on our dinner cruises page. You spend about eight hours on the harbour aboard the yacht Sydney Sundancer, with up to 50 guests, a feast, and Bollinger Champagne, wines, premium beers and soft drinks served all night. Spirits are not included. On 31 December the harbour fireworks go off at 9pm and at midnight, and the boat puts you on the water for both.
The details matter on this night. It leaves from one of the King Street charter wharves in Darling Harbour, but the wharf number and boarding time are set by the maritime authorities in early October, so check your voucher. Expect boarding between 5pm and 5:30pm, and be there well ahead, as boats may only use the wharf for 15 minutes. It is non-refundable, and guests must be 10 or older. The record is small: around 4.0 from about 10 reviews, so read them before you commit.

Aboard our yacht Sydney Sundancer on New Years Eve, you will join a select group and enjoy a party atmosphere second to none ! Our NYE cruise is quite different to that offered by most other charter boats because it can be likened to enjoying a private party in someone’s home.
You will be served the finest food afloat combined with Bollinger Champagne, top quality wines together premium beers and soft drinks all night not just at midnight.
