Our take
If a 3.5 hour walking tour sounds like too much, a bike tour covers the same harbour core in about two hours. That is how we put it in our things to do in Sydney guide. Bonza runs four routes from its shop at 30 Harrington Street in The Rocks, including a ride across the Harbour Bridge, a night ride and a short highlights tour. Bikes and equipment come with every booking.
Groups are capped at 15. The routes cover The Rocks, Barangaroo, Darling Harbour and Hyde Park, with stops for history along the way, and a sandwich and drink are included only on the Harbour Bridge ride. You need to be comfortable riding a bike in the city. It rates around 4.8, close to the best walking tours, so the choice comes down to how you like to get around.
