Our take
This is one of the newer listings we mention on our Blue Mountains hiking tours page, and it has no reviews yet. It is built for walkers: no zoo, no Scenic World, and more time on trails. The day starts at the Three Sisters early, for the morning cloud and before the crowds. The main event is a two-hour cliff edge hike down to the bottom of Wentworth Falls. Then come lunch in Leura, Katoomba Falls without the Scenic World queues, a lookout over the Megalong Valley and Narrow Neck, and a final lookout over the Grose Valley.
Groups are capped at 11. Pickups run from 7:10am at the rear entrance of the Four Seasons on Harrington Street, then the Holiday Inn on Victoria Street, the Vibe Hotel on Goulburn Street and the Ibis Darling Harbour at 7:50am. The day runs about 11 hours. Meals and coffee are not included. The listing asks for moderate fitness, and the hike goes down a cliff face to the base of the falls, so be honest about your legs. With no reviews, it is a newer operator to check out before booking.
Good for
- Walkers who want a real hike rather than lookout stops
- Small groups who want to skip the zoo and rides
Think twice if
- You want a tour with a review record
- Anyone who struggles with steep steps

The tour, stop by stop
- The tour starts here as it's a great spot to see impressive cloud formations which are only visible in the morning - most tours miss these because they stop at a zoo on the way up! Grab some coffee and morning tea and enjoy the views of the Three Sisters and the rest of the Jamieson Valley before the crowds arrive. Plenty of time to walk right up close to the the impressive sandstone pillars. About 60 min.
- The main event of the day - The Cliff Edge Hike - which takes us daringly down the edge of a cliff-face to the bottom of Wentworth Falls. This is a bucket-list hike that cannot be missed! Epic views and a valley cathedral alive with the echoes of all the birds. We spend plenty of time here to allow for all fitness levels and offer easier options for those wanting to avoid all the steps. About 120 min.
- Visit the charming village of Leura for a sit-down meal or grab something quick and have more time to stroll the cherry blossom lined streets. About 60 min.
- Katoomba Falls cannot be missed, but you don't need to pay for the cable cars and stand in queues at Scenic World to get great views of it. Getting the views without the tourist trap is exactly why people love this tour. About 20 min.
- Cliff faces wrapping nearly 270 degrees around us make this look-out well worth the stop. This is the perfect spot for views over the Megalong Valley, Narrow Neck and Boars Head Rock. About 20 min.
- When it comes to views that take your breath away - we saved the best for last. Being a bit further away means most tours don't get out to Australia's Grand Canyon, but you came for the best views, so we've delivered. We will go to either Govett's Leap or Pulpit Rock from where we also Bridal Veil Falls. About 30 min.
