Our take
This is a private first dive for one or two people, run from Dive Centre Bondi at 198 Bondi Road, and we list it on our snorkelling in Sydney page as an option for trying scuba. It takes about half a day, needs no experience, and the instructor has your pair to themselves. Scuba gear and transport in an air-conditioned vehicle are included.
It is priced per group, for up to two people, so it costs more than a shared try-dive but gives you all of the instructor's attention, which the operator presents as the point. It rates 5, but from only 4 reviews, so there is very little to judge it on yet. It refunds in full up to 24 hours before. It is not recommended for anyone pregnant or with heart problems. Certified divers should look at the grey nurse shark day instead.
