Our take
This 90-minute guided walk goes behind the scenes at the Sydney Cricket Ground and through the SCG Museum at Moore Park. It rates around 4.9 at a low price, and it is the stadium tour we list on our Sydney walking tours page.
Be clear about what it is. It is a tour of a sports venue, not a walk through the city, and Moore Park is nowhere near the harbour. That is why it is the one we would skip on that page if what you want is Sydney's history and streets. For cricket and football fans, the picture changes: the reviews are among the best of any walk we compare, and it fits easily into a morning before an afternoon in Paddington or Surry Hills. Make your own way to the ground on Driver Avenue.
Good for
- Cricket, rugby and sports fans
- A short, cheap tour on a day outside the city centre
Think twice if
- You want to see the city or the harbour
- Sport means little to you
